Pregnancy

BFP dc3 - only 8 months after dc2

I'm terrified (and amazed frankly, we had treatment for dc2 and the age gap between dc1 is 6 years) but happy. I'm just so scared of the road ahead, we aren't in a house just a flat, DP can't drive (I can), we'll need a new car, I'll have to sell my buggy and fork out for a double, I've got to cancel 2017's holiday and lose our deposit. There is just so much to do and I'm still surrounded by Christmas mess! Pregnancy doesn't suit me at all, I always get sick and really sleepy. I have a disability and given that I had an emg cs last time I have a feeling they'll make me have another cs now in case of scar rupture. It has only been 8 months and I got 2 infections.

I'm really happy but I just can't envisage how hard the next few years are going to be. If anyone has any words of support and tips on how to cope with 2 under 2 I'd be very happy to hear them. If anyone has had a vbac so soon after a cs I'd love to hear how you got on x

My first two have 17 months between them, I won't lie, it is hard but it's also lovely. My biggest piece of advice to you is, try and enjoy it. When I look back now it's very much a blur and unfortunately I used to wish away time until it got a bit easier. Now all of a sudden they are 8 and 10 and I don't know how that happened so fast?!

I'm also pregnant with DC3, 37 weeks now, and it's the age gap that's terrifying me!! We can't win! Honestly you'll manage fine xxx

Thank you so much. DP is having driving lessons and keeps telling me that we have time, the kids bedroom is big enough and the little one can stay in with us for a year, we still have a while to get the flat on the market etc so I suppose I'm just panicking at the huge amount of steps we need to take to be ready for DC3! (And the cost of double buggies 😂)

I am looking forward to them being so close in age, that will be lovely and it'll mean my mothering years will be encapsulated. Plus everything is ready to go, we still have all the stuff from last time round.

I'm just thinking of practicalities, how will I find the time to BF?! 😳 What if both of them blow up their nappies at the same time?!

I have my return to work meeting in 2 weeks. I guess that's off now too.
