Severe early pregnancy symptoms
(6 Posts)It's my third pregnancy , I'm 9 + 3 weeks (I have two dds) and this pregnancy has absolutely floored me from around 7 weeks! I'm actually shocked at how strong the symptoms are this time round and so early on.
I have a face full of painful spots
Really windy gassy tummy
Constant nausea/ sickness (I had nausea and sickness last two pregnancies as well but this seems a lot more severe)
I've already got a bit of a bump - at 9 weeks?! My stomach was completely flat prior to pregnancy so not sure how that's happened and so fast.
The heartburn !!!! Usually my heartburn starts in my third trimester - I mean, what is going on here?!
I'm already so fed up and uncomfortable!
Does it get harder the more you have or the older you get or something? I'm 32 so not that old I don't think!
Do you know for sure there's only one in there? I don't want to alarm you but severe early symptoms are a sign of multiple pregnancy...
If not, then it could just be a case of every pregnancy being different.
Eeek hedgehog I've been for an early scan at 6 weeks and there was one heartbeat so pretty sure it's only one but I've read that it also could be too early for detecting a twin pregnancy
I really hope not !
Yes, 6 weeks is often too early...
However, it's most likely just your body reacting differently this time round. Hope you feel better soon!
I had similar with my third pregnancy, much worse symptoms than the previous two all the way through. It was almost as if my body was trying to make sure I never wanted to get pregnant again!!
Thank you hedgehog
love haha yes I think that's what's happening to me. My body is like what! Right... just so it never happens again ...!!! it's never going to happen again for sure
