Will they allow your partner into the delivery room if they have been drinking?

My partner wants to have a few drink.... a fair few with his friends today. I don't mind I doubt today is the day but hey you never know right? So if he did go out and got drunk but not falling all over drunk of course so would he be allowed into the hospital still?

Yep, as long he's not causing trouble.

How pg are you? Can't he have just a couple instead of getting drunk? Confused

Having had a drink or two, fine.

Actually drunk, not fine.

I would seriously ducked off if I was close to due and my DH chose to go out drinking. I have no objections to him going out etc but when birth could well be imminent I would expect him to behave like a sensible adult and put his child and wife above a beer

I'm due in around 9-10 days. He can drink a fair amount and look fine so he's not going over the top he said just incase

If he can drink a fair amount and look fine and not want to miss a drinking session in case the baby arrives then I think potentially being drunk in the delivery room is the least of your worries.

Your bigger problem would be getting to the hospital if he's over the limit.

They can get a taxi, or a lift.. He might not drive, they might not have car.

We would be getting a taxi as the parking prices are not cheap there. He has decided to stay in and have a drink on his own

Well we don't breathalyse at the door.
I have had three experiences with drunk partners.
One, was a bit of an arse with stupid questions, was sick in hand basin and snored in chair afterwards. Missed birth.
Two, fell asleep on the floor. Snored loudly. As it was a small room, I rolled him into recovery position with my foot, under the bed. Missed birth.
Three, arrived at elective CS drunk. Shouty and obnoxious. Security "had a word". Definitely needed a chair in theatre, did not give him baby to hold.

Others might not be entirely sober but did not disgrace themselves.

Wait. He's going out with his mates on Christmas Day and leaving his heavily pregnant partner at home. Wow!! What a guy. Isn't today about family? Sorry but it sounds like he has his priorities mixed up!
