7 weeks exactly to the day and spotting pink blood when I wipe. Super worried. I haven't had many cramps and those I do have can probably be linked to gas and things. I had really sore nIpples last week but they're not as sensitive today. I know it's a lot of information, and probably too much. But really scared and was hoping you guys should let me know if I should be worried or not. Midwife today basically said they can't do anything before 24 weeks.

Where are you from? I had this earlier on in the week and phoned the epu and got an early scan. You can't phone your epu? They usually get you in for a scan to make sure all is okay.

I'm in the UK, I can go to A&E if things get more serious, but apparently they are unhelpful and put me and a low priority case. I don't even know if they'd be bothered giving me a scan. Everyone elses experiences don't seem the best.

I had the same thing and had an early scan at EPU. It was all fine and was unexplained bleeding possibly from a small blood vessel. It's often fine but of course you are worrying and want to check. As PP said, try ringing the EPU, although they might be Mon-Fri 9-5.

Hi - I went to a and e at 7 weeks with bleeding and they scanned me. I think at that stage they like to check it isn't ectopic (not to worry you as it's fairly unlikely but they do need to check) For that reason I'd say It's worth a try. Good luck catxx

That's so strange. I had bleeding with my last pregnancy I was 5 and a half weeks then and got taken in for a scan the same day and this time I had bleeding and like I said had a scan on Monday. If you go to a&e they might just advise you phone your early pregnancy unit/support in the morning.

I thought bleeding in early pregnancy always got taken seriously, It shocking they don't seem as concerned

I don't think A&E are too concerned unless your health is at risk e.g. risk of ectopic. Otherwise it's not really an emergency to them and so they don't seem to scan.

Epu are 9 til 5 they usually have an out of hours service, they also have limited hours on Saturday and Sunday I think 9 to 3 or 4. You can call your local hospital switch board and ask them to put you through and tell them what's been happening. You don't have to go through your doctor ect. You can go direct
