I'm 28 weeks and have been off work since about 23 weeks with spd for which I have physio in January. Back pain is so unbearable I'm not really sleeping and am in tears most nights. I have been taking paracetamol but I doesn't do much. I really can't cope with it anymore I don't know what I can do.

I was signed off from 26 weeks with dd1. I was in so much pain and couldn't, walk, sit, lie or stand.

I didn't find the Physio helpful the first time around. Second time it kicked in at 17 weeks and found an amazing osteopath who specialised in pregnancy. I saw her monthly and she kept the pain manageable and I was able to look after my toddler.

Have a look at the pelvic partnership website lots of tips on how to not aggravate it but general rules are knees together and never stand on 1 leg.
