Just got my BFP. Does this look promising or too faint?

I know any line is good but I'm freaking out about a misscarriage after past experiences. I've had one healthy baby /pregnancy. I'm testing next week to check progression. I should be about 12dpo

The line test has really faded since then. The test control line is still vivid though. Hence the paranoia!

Stop testing. Don't check progression. I know it's hard but please don't feed into that anxiety cycle as it is counterproductive by far, and I say that having been in your exact position with a pregnancy soon after loss.
Keep calm, rest, eat well. Try (and I know it's hard) relax. Remember this pregnancy is different.

You're right. Sorry for your loss Flowers

I was thrilled after the digital one but then surprised the clearblue line test was so faint. My DS's one was quite dark around the same dpo.

Try not to fret, I never even bothered with anything other than one Clearblue digital in this pregnancy which came back pregnant and that was that. Don't worry yourself silly over line strength, it won't make anything better. Unfortunately if it's going to go wrong, it just will - was my mantra in the early days, but I did my best to do everything right so if it did go wrong again I knew I had given everything I could to providing the best possible chance and wouldn't ruin myself with the guilt of 'if only I'd done things differently'.

I think I should've just chucked this test out. I shouldn't have looked again!

Tests fade over time don't they? Keep your digital one - they stay until the battery dies 😄

Congratulations!!

Tests do fade after a while it has happened to mine. I'm around 6 weeks and panic over every little cramp, pain, ache! Trying to relax is so hard!! I have an early scan booked for Monday and I'm hoping and praying I have a little bean with a heartbeat! I lost my previous pregnancy at 17 weeks, so I can't wait to get to 20 weeks! Hope you have a smooth and healthy pregnancy xxx

That line is as dark as I got with my daughter when I was 3 weeks late using the same test... She's two and a half now ;) Congratulations

Thanks Smile I took the second test that was in the packet and it was fairly darker considering only 1 day's difference so I feel relieved (stupidly, I know, it doesn't really tell you anything about viability).

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's not at ease from the point of finding out Grin
