And I'm so nervous. There is no real reason to be. No bleeding, full on morning sickness, sore boobs, stretching pains all of it. And yet I can't feel excited to see baby for the first time. I'm just so scared something will be wrong.

I'm sure it's normal to feel like this. But ahhhhh. Shitting myself. Confused

Good luck Super
All will be fine I'm sure!
I was the same before our 12 week scan. The sonographer took (what felt like) an age to show us because she couldn't find her at first! Then when she turned the screen round it was so wonderful and surreal to see her wiggling around.
26 weeks now and can feel her moving all the time but I'll never forget how amazing it was to see her for the first time!

Well it's a mover! Because of its whole body hiccup type jumps it's now named the Mexican Jumping Bean!

Everything has now gotten really real! Grin Such an emotional day.

Aw exactly the same due date! I couldn't believe how big baby looked at 12 weeks I was expecting an alien but it looked like a little person like yours :-) is it baby number 1 for you? I had the blood combined test and they said they'd ring within a week if high risk so just want to get through that then I can breathe again!

Bump buddies! ::high five::

It really is strange seeing them so formed all ready! Toes, mouths and all!

Yup baby no.1 for me. I had bloods done in my booking in, and a week after (I think that was because I'm veggie) but no results or anything. The babies neck was measured today and I was told it's 1:15159. So low risk Smile What's the blood combined test?

Ah fab news for you!! My area they do scan nuchal fold test (which was low risk) but they take bloods at same time to test for Down's syndrome/Edwards and the other one I've forgotten the name off. They combine that with the scan results to give a risk. So keeping my fingers crossed the phone doesn't ring! Baby number 1 here too...it seems so real now doesn't it! X

I'll keep all my fingers and toes crossed for you! Time can move so slow when waiting on these things.

Baby no.1 too. How fantastic, how are you finding it all so far? Have you many symptoms?

I have to admit I feel a bit of a fraud saying I'm pregnant when I have no bump or outward signs (apart from the vomiting) but now I have a picture to wave under people's noses Grin I can't wait until bump starts to grow!!!

Haha I know what you mean...I was convinced she would scan and I'd found out I'd made up being pregnant! I've been relatively ok; tired and boobs hurting but nothing too bad...how about you? I've been eating lots of hob nobs but I suspect that's because I'm greedy rather than cravings Smile I'm excited about 2nd trimester now...haven't even told work so tomorrow will be a shock for them!

Ha ha ha. I love it. I've spent the day telling people it wasn't wind and there is an actual baby in there!

I've had the sickness, headrushes, tiredness and boob ache but my worst is my back. It gets so painful. I had to tell work at 10 weeks because I couldn't cope with the bending and lifting all day.

Good luck with tomorrow! Enjoy it and show off that scan!
