need advice, ok so on the 12th November I had intercourse I'm not sure what date I was due to ovulate but after trying to work my dates out it could of been a few days after this date. my period cycle changes month to month and to be honest I haven't been keeping track of dates etc. so my last period started on the 1st November and my period before that was 33 days from first day to the first day of my next. I've been getting cramps for the last 2 days this morning when I went to the toilet there was a tiny bit of blood so I thought ok so that's that no more wondering however there has been nothing since the cramps haven't been as bad today but do keep coming and going I don't know when I should take a test has anyone had these cramps and actually been pregnant? we have not planned to have a baby so I am feeling mixed emotions and waiting till mother nature shows her face is making me anxious but the pains put me off doing a test as I really feel like i've just got period pains.

I'd pop and get a First Response test as they're generally pretty accurate. Obviously the closer you are to your period the more accurate the result will be (best to do it when your period is due really). However, First Response can detect HCG 6 days before your period is due. It all differed pregnancy to pregnancy because some women don't have much HCG until their period is due or even after but it is possible you would get a positive result.
I'd grab two First Response tests. Use your first pee of the day. If you get a negative result, relax and assume you're not pregnant. Wait for AF and if there's still nothing, test again.
