Bump has changed shape really worried :(

Looking for some reassurance as I'm worried and hate ringing up triage because they make you feel so silly.
First baby 6 days over due my stomach has gone flat and flabby and wrinkly I can even pinch it together. Baby is just poking out on one side, feeling movements still but very rare and not very strong.
Have attached pics Sad

Has the head engaged? If you've worried do phone because that's what they're there for op.

Please ring OP, I'm sure triage won't mind! They'd rather check you over than have you stressed.

You do really need to phone to get the movement checked if it has slowed down - you need to go in for assessment.

Your baby may just have moved however, phone the midwife service as you're clearly worried, it will help to lower your stress levels
Hope alls ok Flowers

Baby has probably moved position but keep a close eye on movements and if you're concerned then please do phone up triage. Try having a cold glass of water and lying down on your side to get baby moving.

Ring, don't worry about feeling silly, if it puts your mind at rest thats all that matters.

If movements are reduced please call them. I have a good friend who thought she was wasting their time but ended up needing a c section within a couple of hours of being checked. Better to waste time with your midwife than speculate on the internet when it comes to something like this.

Please do ring up and go in for monitoring as soon as possible. Ignore anyone who makes you feel silly; any decent health professional will not! I went in with my last pregnancy and they said to go without hesitation if movement changes/slows from what is normal.

I'd also recommend calling triage- you have reduced movements which could be serious.
Change in bump shape wouldn't worry me so much as it's likely baby has just engaged.

Your baby has just probably engaged. Its where the pregnant waddle really comes into its own.

However reduced movements always should be checked, even if it turns out to be nothing. Good luck.

Definitely agree that ring due to a change in movements. Your bump will change shape as the head engages.

Could your waters have broken (mine once went in the bath and I didn't realise)?

I've just had a shower and he's started to kick now. I've been abit wetter down there but don't think waters have gone.
Going to keep an eye on his movements and call up in a hour.

I texted and called my midwife earlier on this week about my concerns she ignored me didn't even bother to reply. Dreading seeing her again now on Tuesday. They really make you feel horrendous!

It could be that your baby is back to back, my bump was softer in the front when the baby was engaged as she had spun round. It's not a problem other than it can make labour a bit longer. Given that you're 6 days late please call them, any change should be checked out. They won't mind!!

Don't wait to call, you'll have to wait in a queue when you go in, particularly as it's the weekend. Ring now! Please. Don't let anyone make you feel bad; I do understand, but you need to keep telling yourself that you and your baby are more important than anyone's attitude.

I would just call maternity and they will have a feel of your tummy and most likely they will say baby has dropped and labour is very close..... however im having similar problems with my bump going down and seeing the outline of the baby but I'm only 34 weeks and I told my midwife and she had a feel and said yea she can feel my baby too easily so I'm having a scan tomorrow to check fluid but I know I haven't been leaking

Good luck! Last word of advice: be assertive about what you want/need, don't let anyone make you feel you can't speak up. I hope it goes well for you, such a wonderful experience to meet your newborn baby! Flowers
