Run over by third trimester shaped truck

30+4 today and apparently all the really shite bits have hit me all at the same time. The heartburn is so bad I've just been sick, the sciatica I've had since 20 weeks has now become unbearable and I can't sit down, I need to wee trickle out a tiny bit approx eleventy billion times a day and night, I'm knackered and now also it feels like a tiny little elf wanker is stabbing me in the fanny with a tiny little elf axe. How in the name of all that is holy does anyone cope with this for another 10 weeks?? He better not go two weeks over I'll cry

Honestly? We cope by moaning at anyone and everyone there to hear or even when there's no one to hear

Just take comfort in the fact that fellow pregnant ladies/mom's know how you feel and understand your moaning is more than justified. Unfortunately, the DP's maybe not so much... I think mine did well not to strangle me with the moods i was in during the third trimester!

Wishing you a speedy baby (but not too speedy, full term at least Grin)

I'm 32 weeks with my second (third pregnancy though) and I hit a wall like this at 28 weeks. Baby moved position and I felt a bit better. Plenty of warm baths and lots of rest is key!

I'm 35+4 and up until a couple of weeks ago I was so smug at how I'd felt pretty good for the whole of my pregnancy. Hit with a freight train of tiredness, reflux, pelvic pain and bad skin...buttttt I have had a few better days recently. Mostly solved by an omeprazole prescription for my reflux and lots of bouncing on my birthing ball! Good luck, hope you feel better soon!

PeachBellini123 · 26/11/2016 06:02

Yep Sad 35 weeks - can't sleep, acid reflux, constant colds and pelvis/back will flare up for no reason. Oh and I need to pee all the time because baby likes to use my bladder as a cushion Hmm

Fed up of people telling me to enjoy my sleep while I can. I have insomnia at night and work during the day...when do I sleep?!

Peach I am beginning to struggle with the polite smile response when people say 'well if you think you're tired now....'....OHHH I hadn't realised babies woke in the night, thanks so much! Gives me horrendous pregnancy rage.

Yep "sleep while you can" BS is very very annoying Envy and so is the "if you think you are tired now"
I want to punch them in the phase. I usually reply "that is not helpful" and that shuts them right up.
Dont have time for passive aggressive comments when I am struggling with life!!!

I'm on it, going to whine my way through the weekend Grin I am having regular bouts of pregnancy rage as well, being completely unreasonable in most cases. The question "oh are you pregnant?" sends me over the edge. I just want to look down in shock and horror and start screaming "no! Am I? Shittttt!"

I'm right there with you. 35 weeks and I feel like my belly is taking over the WORLD. I'm massive. My clothes are getting too small and I ripped my favourite jeans the other day when I crouched down to help my toddler. Angry I have a double chin and my knee high boots barely zip up anymore. I just want to slouch in leggings all day but they aren't warm enough. aaarrrgh.

I'm 33 weeks and those symptoms come and go, so I've been ok so far BUT my belly feels so sore! I think it's the skin stretching or the baby leaning back or something but when I walk anywhere, it's so tender. I hate it!

30 weeks and also been hit by that truck!

Thank god it's not just me. I don't remember this from last time. Currently 31 weeks with insomnia, acid, stabbing pain, wind, plus a string of colds. I'm in a male dominated work environment and feel I have to prove something by struggling through. Showing no weakness.

I'm going to try desperately hard not to be sick on my physio for the next hour. She is my only hope!

So glad this is not just me! Insomnia, acid reflux, sciatica and needing to pee constantly plus irrational moods are really getting me down

I should own shares in gaviscon! The pain in my hips are like a stabbing pain and I too wish I could live in leggings.

I'm 30+4 today and feel like this could have been written by me!! Especially that little elf wanker. And the people saying 'oh, are you pregnant?' !!!! Angry

22 weeks with DC 3. A 22 month old that doesn't sleep. A four year old that needs about five hours in the park a day. Why did I think this was a good idea?? Would kill to be 30+ weeks, with all it brings. This is the never ending pregnancy.

I'm joining you for a moan...DH, sis, parents, cat and late dec antenatal thread has had it so you might as well hear all about it too! 35+2 and can't believe there's so long to go! Baby has grown and decided that I am no longer allowed to lay on my right side as (s)he falls in to my ribs or whichever organ is hiding round my back and kicks the shit out of it to the point where I want to cry when walking around - the pain lasts hours after getting up. So I'm stuck on my left side, with SPD, which means I can only last about an hour at a time before my hips ache. Tired and grumpy is an understatement for me today.

I've been so smug about how well I've been coping with interrupted sleep and not feeling like "get this baby out" so karma has come round and stuck 2 fingers up and said "take this"...and I can't take it. If anyone dares say any of the phrases up thread about sleeping etc I may just rugby tackle them. And considering how big and hefty I am right now, it's going to hurt them a lot more than it will hurt me...Angry

Bella - exactly the same with sleeping. If I roll over into my right hand side I wake up as it feels like my organs are about to fall out of me Hmm bizarre.

Report
Bella1985 · 27/11/2016 17:52

peach what's on the right side?! I don't know which organs are where now but something hurts a lot!

According to my pregnancy book the uterus puts pressure on the liver if you sleep on your right..makes sense for me as it feels sooo uncomfortable.

Sleeping on my stomach and back is going to feel like such a treat when I can again Grin

Report
Dueindecember2016 · 28/11/2016 10:27

I sleep so much better on my right but I know I should be sleeping on my left. I wake up and switch to the left.

I'm having the most pathetic day so far, I'm at work but really all I want to do is whine at DH (he is also at work, not with me!) I REALLY don't want to do any appointments this afternoon but I have four to do. My physio gave me a giant tubigrip and it's making the million wees a day an unbearable process! I keep thinking to myself, come on love cheer up ffs, I'm even annoying myself now ShockGrin

I'm totally in this boat... 34+2 today and honestly just wanna either be put to sleep for the next 5 weeks or pop this kid out now cos its driving me insane!!

Insomnia but exhausted; nauseous ALL the time, i was all smug that i hadnt had much heartburn then about 2 weeks ago it just hit me all at once. cant manage to stay in bed for more than 4 hours at a time.

Bubba is head down and very low too and is a very active baby so im extremely uncomfortable/borderline painful most of the time too!

Report
PeachBellini123 · 28/11/2016 17:27

TinyHuman. You sound just like me. Mine likes to get me a good kick to the ribs every so often - normally when I've just got comfy in front of the telly Sad

Report
Sparrowlegs248 · 28/11/2016 17:33

Same. I haven't rtft because I'm 30+4 and also dealing with a poorly non sleeping 16 month old. Yes to heartburn, sciatica, still getting morning sickness, and bastard insomnia so when then baby is sleeping, I'm not.
