I'm 24 wks pregnant. For the past few days I have had a feeling like a stitch below my left ribcage, and can't work out what it is!

Last week, I had a stitch-like feeling on the right side which was much more severe than the one on the left, and radiated round front and back. GP said it was muscular, and it went after a day's rest. This one on the left isn't shifting though! Any idea what it is?

Hello! I have something very similar, super painful up both my left and right hand side of abdomen.
I also had a horrendous pain in my pelvis which I later found out was Pelvic Girdle Pain. I phoned my midwife about it, and she told me to phone the obstetric physiotherapist number at the back of my white pregnancy records. I was referred to hospital in two days and I attended a physiotherapy class with a bunch of other pregnant ladies in pain!
The class was brilliant, we were shown how to do exercises and stretches to help pains and then we were all seen individually by the physiotherapist. I was given a big white support belt which I need to wear whilst walking and it has helped SO MUCH!! I could barely walk I was in so much agony, but with the belt I've had no pain what so ever.
Call your midwife tomorrow and ask about calling the obstetric physiotherapist!
I'd also say not to be tempted to buy your own support belt. The therapists have three different types depending on what pain you're having, so leave it to the professionals!

Hope this helps!
