I'd just like some opinions because I'm at a loss and getting really depressed about this.
I have chronic hip pain and am virtually bed bound, can't get in or out of cars, turn over in bed, climb stairs, clicking everywhere, scared something will snap in my back!

Would it be ridiculous to go down the route of an elective c section because I can't see myself pushing a baby out when I can't change positions or open my legs?
I'm 34 weeks now.

You poor thing Flowers That sounds really hard. Everyone talks about the birth as the worst part but really pregnancy can be worse.

I think you should have a chat with your GP - you can request a c section for any reason, and you have a good one. You might need to keep in mind that cs recovery could be longer and more difficult though.

The best thing about giving birth is no longer being pregnant! Oh, and the baby Grin

I think you need to talk it through with your physio and consultant to see which would be better for you. I'd have thought there was a chance that weakening your stomach muscles through a c section might make things worse. Is the pain pregnancy related or did you have it before?

It's just been pregnancy related, I have a midwife appointment on Thursday but haven't seen a consultant yet not sure how to go about that?.

I'm going to air my issues but the couple of midwives that I've had are the types to fob you off really and not take it seriously Confused
I don't wanna cry and end up looking silly/young and not well researched but can't help getting upset when I talk about this Blush

Have you seen a physio? Where is the pain?
