What week did you give birth the first time?

Yeah basically I'm a FTM, over being pregnant and just wanted to hear some statistics off people who already have given birth and which week it was?

Also howwww did you go into labour, were you relaxed that day or active?

I'm quite worried that I'm not doing enough, I took early maternity leave because of SPD hip & back agony so am probably too relaxed!

34 weeks, due on New Year's Eve & really would love her to be here before Christmas lol :( x

I gave birth the first time at 39 weeks, woke up during the night with contractions. I can't remember what I'd been doing the previous day, but I was huge so probably not a lot.

Hope all goes well for you.

39 weeks here. Waters broke in the night. Woke to a tickle and a pop and just managed to get on the loo before they started to gush.

2nd DC was 41 weeks. Suddenly realised I was pausing to deal with contractions as I ate my dinner.

3rd was 40weeks. On due date. Long, slow back to back labour. Knew it had started 2 days before it got bad enough to think about hospital.

41 weeks exactly.

Don't wish her here too soon. She'll be her soon enough. 11 months would be a great age for a first Christmas.

Week 41 for the first, and the second and the third (8, 10 and 11 days late respectively) Sorry? Grin

I don't think your activity levels will affect when you go into labour, but it's probably good to try and keep a bit active just for yourself. SPD sucks though, so you have my sympathy.

40 weeks with ds1. Just after midday on my due date.
My waters had broken 3 days before and I'd been having contractions for just over 2 days. Established labour was 18.5 hours.

I hadn't been overly active in the lead up. Just eaten a shit ton of pineapple as advised by my mw

2 days before my due date, early evening.
I was in work the previous day as I was bored & everyone was telling me that I was no where near ready to drop 😄

36 wks. I hadn't packed up work and went in on the Thurs with a very achey back. The achey back was the first signs of my labour and she was born a day later. All the best OP.

36 weeks. Had been very lazy for weeks due to agonising hip pain and had spent the week and a bit of my mat leave up to that point on the sofa pretty much.
That said I did have a huge burst of energy and spent about two days solid stockpiling enough food to feed an army. Looking back it was clearly the nesting kicking in and I'm glad I did as he was a Christmas baby and it meant we didn't have to worry about shops being shut and had lots of nice food in which would otherwise have been sold out by the time we were back home!

Forgot to say, woke up 5.30am with period type cramps, waters broke just before 6. Bent over unable to breathe with massive contractions by 7am. Fully dilated before 11am baby out at 3pm - he kept going back up so despite fast progress spent 3 hours pushing the little so and so.
