Low lying placenta

So i had my 20 week scan today and told i need to come back at 32 weeks for another scan as i have low lying placenta how likely is it to move? Im just concerned as i read a bit about it and says can cause heavy bleeding later on in pregnancy :/ anyone else experienced this??

Yes, I had this. No bleeding though. It didn't move and I went into hospital at 37 weeks "just in case", and had a section at 38. No problems and my subsequent baby's placenta was high out of the way. Hope all goes well for you.

It's really common, I had exactly the same thing and they said 95% of the time the placenta naturally shifts up, which it did. Try not to worry! At least you get to see your baby again before the due date, so that's always lovely.
