Did anyone not get round to doing much birth prep in 2nd pregnancy? And did it go ok?!

24wks pregnant with number 2 and I'm just struggling to keep as fit as I was first time round. I've changed jobs and house so don't have the same walk to work and I've missed so many yoga classes too. Not planning on doing NCT or anything either.
DS1 birth went well and I'm perhaps a bit complacent this time around but also worried that I'm potentially causing issues for myself.
What are your experiences with second birth if you're as lazy as me?!

I'm 35 weeks with my first and have done no 'birth prep' - uh oh confused

I have opted out of NCT classes and antenatal classes and have attended precisely no yoga classes. I hope everything will go well but I don't think whether it does or not will rely on the above.

I've done nothing this time round. Well maybe a bit of half hearted googling of breathing exercises. Not due for another 3 weeks so hope will all be okay. But from friends/ family it seems perfectly normal to be less prepared for baby 2. You already know that your body can cope etc.

Lol trifle! I guess by birth prep I mean more fitness in general. I'm just worried that my easy first birth was down to how fit I was. I do run after a toddler but it's not quite the same!

Pregnancy number one: yoga, NCT, swimming, wrote a two page birth plan...

Pregnancy number two: fuck all. Unless eating lots of Kit Kats counts as 'prep'?

1st pregnancy - went to a weekly yoga class round the corner from work, never missed a week.

2nd pregnancy - bought a pg yoga DVD intending to do it at home. Managed it once...

Both births fine smile

I was just wondering the exact same thing! I'm 29 weeks with number 2, and I've been to a total of two yoga classes. I was just thinking I need to dig out some books and remind myself of what I'm meant to do!

I didn't do any birth prep with number one and it went alright!

I doubt I'll do much now I'm pregnant with no.2 either lol
