I feel pressure when walking around like the head is pushing down and I get sharp pains in my cervix but today I seen my midwife and she said the head is not engaged. Not that I want to to be Iv got 8 weeks left! But why the pressure and pains ?

Fanny daggers? Yeah they are very common towards the end, I had them in the first trimester too. I think it's just everything stretching and moving round in there.

FWIW, I had them at the same stage as you and my son didn't engage until 41 weeks so it shouldn't be anything to worry about!

Pregnancy is very dignified, isn't it? Grin

I heard them called Fanny daggers on here a few times so must be very common!
