Not testing positive in pregnancy?

Hiya, first post here although I've been reading threads relating to my situation for a long time. Has anyone been pregnant and still not had a positive test even at around 14 weeks? I don't know what's going on with my body- my past two cycles have been later and lighter than normal minus the typical period feels, and now I'm waiting for a sign of af this month as I'm late again. I've been to the doctors and had multiple pregnancy tests (all negative) but my lower belly has developed a little bump- I've always had a flat belly- and I have been having back and cramping pains for the past three months straight now. I've had a molar pregnancy before so know the signs and symptoms and have been having these too..especially acne which is a sure sign for me. I wasn't planning a pregnancy so it's not just my wishful thinking! but if I am that's okay too. I've been referred for a pelvic ultrasound but it's 4 weeks away, if I am pregnant from the cycle I believe I'd be at 13+4, I don't want to miss vital scans and I'm not sure if I should be worrying about things like tumours again since I've already had a molar. sad thankyou in advance x

I can't say this is definitely correct at all but I would say it's highly, highly unlikely you would be getting constant negative results if you were that far along in pregnancy.

The tests try to pick up HCG which can take time to build up in some women but by 14ish weeks, your levels would be really high and even the least sensitive tests would be likely to pick it up.

In terms of periods I really can't offer any advice as my cycles are all over the place sometimes too! It could just be one of those things that you're cycle has, for some reason, become irregular.

I would go back to your GP and explain about the symptoms and negative pregnancy results but insist that something is amiss with your body and you need to know what it could be smile

You could buy or hire a Doppler and listen to your tummy and see if you can beat a placenta and baby's heartbeat
