I can't stop thinking about liver...

Aargh, I think fantasise about fried chicken livers multiple times through the day, every day. I've gone through 2 traumatic 2nd trimester losses so I am not about to run any risks but god the thought is tormenting me, and I do find myself wondering just how bad it would be to just bloody have them. Liver used to be recommended didn't it back in the day?

I am scoffing my greens, I had lentil & kale soup for lunch, I've had half a bag of dried apricots with super dark chocolate and have just nipped into the kitchen to eat black treacle off of the spoon... I think I know what my body is telling me and yes I am taking the iron supplements, I just really REALLY want the livers!

Anyone else totally obsessed by something they can't have?!

Pate and Camembert. I rarely ate them before I was pregnant, but now every time I see them on a menu I'm so Angry that I can't eat them!! Told DH the fridge better be full of the stuff when I'm home from hospital. I actually miss them more than wine - I've found giving that up easy!

I wish I had gone for a really expensive sashimi buffet before I found out I was expensive. Also, pate....i had it every morning for breakfast. Tuna pate at that and the advice is not too much tuna either!

Apparently the whole liver thing is the result of one woman intentionally eating loads of liver throughout her pregnancy because she had been brought up being told that liver is super good for you. Here baby was then born with issues caused by too much vitamin A.

So really, one moderate portion of liver is probably fine in reality!

Yep pate too. A really nice brussels one with good bread. I've told DH he will be dispatched to the shops asap after I'm home to get some. I think it's the liver thing too though!

I don't care about wine either. I don't think I'd honestly care if I never had that again.
