Non-painful, irregular labour contractions?

Just wondering whether or not it is possible for labour contractions to begin more or less painlessly (save for a slight twinge) and irregularly?

This morning my I thought my waters broke (after a dream that my waters broke funnily enough). Went in to be checked and they have so I've been booked in for an induction tomorrow incase labour doesn't begin on its own.

I'm definitely having contractions but they really don't feel much different from BH except they're a little stronger, no more painful though. Could this be the very start of my labour or is it likely just BH? I wasn't sure whether or not it was possible to have BH with broken waters or not as that is obviously a symptom of labour!

Any help would be much appreciated and apologies for rambling but I'm a FTM so I have no idea about labour contractions even with waters intact!

im currently 35weeks FTM so cant offer a personal view, but a few of my friends have said that they didnt know they were having contractions as they werent the screaming pain that they had been led to believe was the norm. If I were you Id be timing them anyway and letting MW know Smile
