Hi ladies

I'm wondering if someone can help I have a sore gum I believe it's a wisdom tooth edging through. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and it was quite painful in night so I applied some bonjela complete which eased it I have since realised we are not meant to use this during pregnancy and I am now panicking I asked at pharmacy and she said since I only applied once it should be ok! Does anyone have advice as to why it can't be used?

Many thanks

I had gum problems a few weeks ago and googled to see if Bonjella was suitable. I can't remember exactly what I found but decided against using it as it was suggested that it could cause liver problems in baby. Of course a once off is different. I'm 29 weeks now and hoping for no more pain. Rinsing with warm, salt water helps in case of infection.

Thanks for replying yes I gathered to not panic over one use and am trying the warm salt water which def helps! If it continues I'll head to dentist for help as I've heard infection isn't good for baby either! It gets so confusing what u can and can't use Hmm
