I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and becoming very impatient to meet my little girl. Anyone else at the same gestation as I am?

I am not quite 38 weeks- i'm 37+4 but very impatient to meet my little girl as well. I can't wait to hold her and to not be pregnant! Is this your first baby Gabby?

38 weeks yesterday. Can't wait to meet him/her.

I'm tired of heartburn, braxton hicks every night and not being able to walk around much!

Fingers crossed it doesn't drag on for another 4 weeks!

One of mine had been born by now....I still haven't finished my bag. I was trying to temp fate at first but now it just doesn't seem necessary because I'm going to be pregnant forever

38 weeks today!

No signs or symptoms - nothing! Lol

Just trying to not think about it and make most of these final few moments to myself chilling out and with partner when he's not working

Due 26th but I feel she's set until well into November!

I'm 39 weeks with #2...I went to 42 weeks last time and the thought of that literally makes me miserable. I'm so ready to have this baby.

I've had major fanny daggers today too! Little bugger keeps wobbling his head about Confused

Report
Afreshstartplease · 12/10/2016 17:03

If I am upright the daggers are constant

Kittenrush · 12/10/2016 17:57

Oh my god I haven't been able to find a way to explain that feeling. Fanny daggers is literally the best thing I've ever heard! I'm 37 weeks today and as far as I'm concerned she can stay put as I'm frigging terrified!

Report
Gabby786 · 12/10/2016 18:05

I'm absolutely terrified too babe!! Like the thought of labour seriously panics me. Lol

But once it's done it's done

I'd rather give birth ten time consecutively than be pregnant another day

39+3 with DC3 here.... Totally fed up, been getting twinges for weeks but nothing which has turned into anything useful! First 2 DCs arrived at 40+10 and 40+9 respectively, am really hoping this one comes a bit sooner!!

Report
Afreshstartplease · 12/10/2016 18:20

40+8?

Report
Bumptittybump · 12/10/2016 18:26

Ha ha. Fanny daggers striking here too at 37+3. School run is taking twice as long. Would be perfect if she would arrive sometime next week/weekend so DH will be on paternity leave durung half term. If she hasn't made her grand entrance (or should it be exit?) by the time they go back I think I will be getting a tad fed up.

Report
Squtternutbosch · 12/10/2016 18:54

37 + 2 here. Starting to get really uncomfortable! Had the dreaded fanny daggers badly for the first time yesterday while out for a walk, and then, to my horror, the bum daggers struck!

My LO is showing absolutely no sign of engaging yet and is already big so I am dreading going over. Totally ready to not be pregnant any more but never having given birth before the thought of it is absolutely fucking terrifying!!

Nooooooooo I need him out sooner than 40+8!!!!

Report
WowserBowser · 12/10/2016 19:17

I think that's why pregnancy is so long - so the thought of giving birth isnt so bad.

Report
mypropertea · 12/10/2016 19:21

40+5!
