I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and becoming very impatient to meet my little girl. Anyone else at the same gestation as I am?

Baz13 Wed 12-Oct-16 07:43:01

I am not quite 38 weeks- i'm 37+4 but very impatient to meet my little girl as well. I can't wait to hold her and to not be pregnant! Is this your first baby Gabby?

WowserBowser Wed 12-Oct-16 07:52:58

I'm 38+3 and feel the same!

Ive been having mild contractions since Friday but they aren't going anywhere.

Im fed up of heartburn, and restless legs...
And im so excited to meet her!

38 weeks yesterday. Can't wait to meet him/her.

I'm tired of heartburn, braxton hicks every night and not being able to walk around much!

Fingers crossed it doesn't drag on for another 4 weeks!

38 weeks on Friday here. Going through lots of pineapple and raspberry leaf tea but no movement a

LolaStarr Wed 12-Oct-16 08:14:55

*as yet. Not sure what happened there hmm

Gabby786 Wed 12-Oct-16 08:21:18

@baz13 yes this is my first. So exciting

And I have been having cramps and twinges but nothing that is a sign of labour

Afreshstartplease Wed 12-Oct-16 08:29:43

I'm 39 weeks today with DC4 and am fed the fuck up!

MyBreadIsEggy Wed 12-Oct-16 08:39:17

37 weeks with DC2 and totally unprepared. Planning a homebirth, but my pool hasn't been delivered yet, I haven't had my home appointment with the midwife, emergency hospital bag is half packed.....need to get my arse in gear really as Dd was born bang on 38 weeks confused

Afreshstartplease Wed 12-Oct-16 08:41:44

One of mine had been born by now....I still haven't finished my bag. I was trying to temp fate at first but now it just doesn't seem necessary because I'm going to be pregnant forever

38 weeks today!

No signs or symptoms - nothing! Lol

Just trying to not think about it and make most of these final few moments to myself chilling out and with partner when he's not working

Due 26th but I feel she's set until well into November!

user1468321775 Wed 12-Oct-16 09:49:05

I'm 39 weeks with #2...I went to 42 weeks last time and the thought of that literally makes me miserable. I'm so ready to have this baby.

LillianFullStop Wed 12-Oct-16 10:34:19

38+3 with cramping, twinges, fanny daggers and increased discharge but no real labour as yet. Really impatient to meet my baby girl now!!

Gabby786 Wed 12-Oct-16 11:46:23

Yes I keep cramping too. A lot of twinges. But no actual real sign of labour :-/

MyBreadIsEggy Wed 12-Oct-16 15:58:34

I've had major fanny daggers today too! Little bugger keeps wobbling his head about confused

Afreshstartplease Wed 12-Oct-16 17:03:40

If I am upright the daggers are constant

Kittenrush Wed 12-Oct-16 17:57:29

Oh my god I haven't been able to find a way to explain that feeling. Fanny daggers is literally the best thing I've ever heard! I'm 37 weeks today and as far as I'm concerned she can stay put as I'm frigging terrified!

Gabby786 Wed 12-Oct-16 18:05:33

I'm absolutely terrified too babe!! Like the thought of labour seriously panics me. Lol

Afreshstartplease Wed 12-Oct-16 18:09:13

But once it's done it's done

I'd rather give birth ten time consecutively than be pregnant another day

fairgroundsnack Wed 12-Oct-16 18:17:56

39+3 with DC3 here.... Totally fed up, been getting twinges for weeks but nothing which has turned into anything useful! First 2 DCs arrived at 40+10 and 40+9 respectively, am really hoping this one comes a bit sooner!!

Afreshstartplease Wed 12-Oct-16 18:20:08

40+8?

Bumptittybump Wed 12-Oct-16 18:26:40

Ha ha. Fanny daggers striking here too at 37+3. School run is taking twice as long. Would be perfect if she would arrive sometime next week/weekend so DH will be on paternity leave durung half term. If she hasn't made her grand entrance (or should it be exit?) by the time they go back I think I will be getting a tad fed up.

Squtternutbosch Wed 12-Oct-16 18:54:58

37 + 2 here. Starting to get really uncomfortable! Had the dreaded fanny daggers badly for the first time yesterday while out for a walk, and then, to my horror, the bum daggers struck!

My LO is showing absolutely no sign of engaging yet and is already big so I am dreading going over. Totally ready to not be pregnant any more but never having given birth before the thought of it is absolutely fucking terrifying!!

fairgroundsnack Wed 12-Oct-16 19:15:15

Nooooooooo I need him out sooner than 40+8!!!!

WowserBowser Wed 12-Oct-16 19:17:53

I think that's why pregnancy is so long - so the thought of giving birth isnt so bad.
