Breech baby

Last week at 30weeks I went into hospital with reduced movements and cervix pain. Turns out my reduced movements were because baby is kicking my cervix (causing the pain) and not my stomach as he had turned breech!
I had a private scan at 27 weeks which showed him head down so somewhere in those 3 weeks he turned without me knowing, which is a miracle in itself as he's showing to be a porker!
What exercises can I do to try and get him to turn back?
Ecv isn't an option as I've had a pervious csection so I'm desperate to get him head down to deliver naturally.
Any advice, old wives tales, success stories etc will be very much appreciated!

Prenatal yoga I think, particularly "upside down"postures.

Check out the 'Spinning Babies' website. List of exercises on there. They've not worked for me yet but they're not going to work for everyone. Good luck

I wouldn't worry too much, my little one was spinning around a fair bit between weeks 29 and 32. She's still transverse but with head slightly down now at 34 weeks. Do you have an exercise ball? Lots of bouncing on that, lots of spending time on all fours (if I'm reading before bed I will kneel on the floor next to the bed with my elbows resting on the mattress and read like that!) etc.

Don't panic. You've got ages. None of my 3 turned head down till 38-39 weeks.

Think about your posture - sitting on a birth ball is much better for foetal positioning than slouching on the sofa. Yoga is indeed fab, as is spinning babies website. If baby is still breech further down the line, acupuncture (a technique called moxibustion) is an option but it's too early for that now.

I felt my baby turn when my husband was tickling me to death and I was rolling round on the bed. Not sure if it's medically proven... Wink
