I'm not feeling very good today at all! I was dizzy on the bus into work, felt faint. Could barely manage it all the way up the stairs (from basement to 2nd floor) to my classroom. Needed a break half way up! Was spacey in my lessons. Felt a bit achy and tired, put it down to maybe having a cold.
At break, got into a heated disagreement with a colleague who I felt was goading me to into an emotional reaction (I think he's probably got his side of it!).
I started to walk away from it because the discussion was pressing all my buttons, he narrated this "see, this proves I am right about you being confrontational, the way you are walking away from this disagreement right now!" and I yelled at him "I AM WALKING AWAY BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO CRY AT YOU!" "See! You are raising your voice because you are so confrontational!" and I walked out. Have been disproportionately mad about this whole thing all day. (Mad at myself, mad at him, mad at the crappy management of a simple issue that allowed this to come to a head. Mad mad mad) Major ugly crying in my classroom before my Y7s came in. I can't work out if it's a disproportionate reaction or not. Regardless of how he perceives me, I'm usually pretty chill! I don't fecking shout at my colleagues, that's a first for me.
At lunch, I was telling the colleagues who saw it, how out of sorts I felt. I hear a "whooshing" noise in my ears, especially after I walk upstairs, I'm tired, I threw up this morning and felt sick all day (I'm 23 weeks and morning sickness hasn't been a thing for me for a while), my head hurts, I'm exhausted.
So, obviously, I need to get my blood pressure checked and my urine tested for protein. It's probably a cold but it might be high blood pressure, right?
The deal at my GP is if it is urgent, if I show up to my surgery tomorrow at lunch, they will see me.
But does it sound MORE urgent than that, should I be trying to see an out of hours doc for these two tests?
