Hey all,

I'm due April 2017 and this is my first baby!

Currently 8 weeks (nearly 9 weeks tomorrow ahh!)

I wondered if anyone was due roughly the same time that could guide me along the way through everything, scans, do's and don't, and maybe find some mummy friends for when the baby is here.

I'm 24 and from Essex Smile

Fantastic! So you may have experience in things I know nothing about Smile that's great to hear.

I have my first scan on the 3rd October, I've been really sick recently. Currently in the middle of a two week holiday to Spain and although we've been to so many restaurants all I've basically had is bread and chips :(

Xx

Poor you! The sickness is horrible, isn't it. I have all day constant nausea, same for the other two pregnancies too. From what I remember, it became more intermittent from about 12 weeks, then disappeared at about 14 weeks. Yuck!

Hey OP

I'm 9 weeks, from Essex and my scan is also 3rd Oct! Shock

Sickness is horrid, I been hospitalised with hyperemsis and on a tonne of anti sickness meds. Currently signed off work as I'm useless!

Just returned from holiday too - I survived on chips and cakes! The flight home was horrendous- was locked away in the loo for most of it! Envy

Where in Essex? I'm south Essex

Hello,
I'm due mid April with my first baby. It was unplanned so still mentally adjusting!
I had a scan at 8 weeks which kind of helped make it a 'bit more real'.
I'm from Glasgow but currently living and working in Dubai.
Suffered from terrible cramping between weeks 3-6 but that settled. My taste buds have altered and having previously been the least fussy eater on the planet, I find myself turning my nose up at random foodstuffs. I was worried about cutting down my coffee consumption (prev circa 4 per day) but my body naturally switched off from it and I don't even want any. Coca Cola is my replacement craving and really having to be careful on that front otherwise my caffeine and sugar levels will be sky high anyway!
It would be nice to follow the journey along with other April Mums.

The 'journey' will be in the chat thread linked above - where there are hundreds of posts.

Hi all :)

I'm 11 weeks today, and I had my scan yesterday.

Due in early April, but when I go back for the Downs scan and blood test in a couple of weeks, they will be able to tell me specific dates

first baby also! :) Super tired most of the time, not eating much either as it makes me feel poorly sick when I do!

Started throwing up at about 9 weeks, and touch wood for the past 3 days has died down a bit...

Im in north west
