Clearblue positive - eBay test negative?

Afternoon lovelies! I did a clearblue test 3 days ago on my period due date. It came up a very faint positive, which doesn't show up too well on photos but I can certainly see it. I've done a different test this afternoon, at around 2 o'clock which was an eBay one and it has come back negative. We've been TTC for 2 months. I have been an bought a new pack of clearblue to try again in the morning! What's everyone's opinions? I'm seeing a lot about false positives with clearblue and it's making me worry. Thanks in advance xx

P.S. Top one is clearblue, bottom is eBay.

Hmm I'm not sure I can a second line on the clearblue either I'm afraid, unless it's just not photographed well. Sorry. Not much you can do other than test again tomorrow.

Hey :)
It looks positive to me :)
I took 3 eBay tests this pregnancy at the beginning and they were all negative...
I took one clear blue and the line was so faint so I wasn't sure.. I messaged my sister a picture and she congratulated me immediately and said there's no such thing as a false positive! I wasn't convinced so took another clear blue the next day first wee of the day and it was a bit darker. Anyway I'm 32 weeks pregnant now!! Fingers crossed for you ;) xx

I'm gonna do another clearblue in the morning! Hoping the first was right and my eBay ones are just not sensitive enough. I have 2 kids and used tesco ones with them, first time of using eBay! Xx

It's only just there, very faint but I'm only 4 days late! I've pulled it apart and it's clearly there on the strip so I'm gonna take it as a positive! Thank you 😃 xxx

I don't actually know where to get first response, I've never seen them in the shops? I'm finding it hard to believe, with it been so faint. I'm terrified my period is gonna arrive so I can't get excited about it. Very anxious xxx

Congratulations they look positive to me :) the Superdrug first response tests are the ones I took, had my positive 5 days before my period was due on it and a 1-2 weeks on a CB that evening.

Those clear blues are notorious on the web for false positives however my faint line on one was true. Try another brand X

Well I read up on them quite a lot, as you do when things get a little confusing. You go google crazy! So far I've done 3 and all have been a faint positive. The lines are similar to the ones I had when pregnant with my first, they were faint and never got darker. Not bothering with GP because they don't offer tests or blood tests anymore at my surgery. Thanks for the responses xx

I'm now a week late, done another clearblue this morning and got this result but an extremely faint line that you couldn't see on a tesco test! Could only see it when taken apart 😩 So confusing xx

I can see positives on all the clearblue ones. The cheap eBay type ones tend to be less sensitive. I would splash out on a digital at this point as at a week late that should show positive. Best of luck!

I got a very cheap boots own brand strips x5 and they were really sensitive. If your still wanti g to test id not test with vlearblue again. The boots ones are pink dye and are more sensitive

I'd get a digital one, no guessing. It says either 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant'. I've got the double cb pack (1 with lines, 1 with indicator & date).

I've heard the digital ones are less sensitive so don't wanna waste £13 on one test! Might have to eventually. Will see if my lines get darker or Mother Nature arrives xx

I got a faint positive on a boots hpt strip yesterday. I got a double pack (1 had lines, other has digital and date). I used cb plus and was negative until this morning and cb digital confirmed bfp.

I've done a tesco one this morning and an extremely faint line came up but it wasn't centred! Does this mean it's a faulty test? Xx
