Worried- Growth Scan at 34 weeks

I have to go to hospital later today for a growth scan as my bump is smaller than it should be (although I feel enormous!) Her heart and movement is fine but the midwife wants to check. The baby is also in breech (despite having her head down at 32w, she's moved back around!) and in a sideways position. Her position may account for the size of my bump apparently but as I said we need to be sure.
I'm trying to be positive but I can't help but be worried.
Anyone else had a similar experience with a happy ending?

I wouldn't worry. Measuring your bump is often really inaccurate. I had to have one around the same time with my DS and he was 8lbs when he was born, it turned out two different midwives had measured me differently

Thanks lolastarr This midwife did ask if she was on my pelvic bone when she was measuring which I thought was weird because surely she'd know better than me...! X

I also had a growth scan just to be on the safe side, all was well. Even the measurements from the scan were off though lol as I was told I was well on track for an 8lb baby and he was born 6lb 13oz. I'm sure all will be ok :-)

Hope all goes OK for you.
My DD was sideways at about that point so I measured a little behind and then when she turned it popped back out again so hopefully that is it.

My midwife this time told me it is inaccurate though as i measured 1cm ahead one day and 0.5 cm behind the next day with a different midwife.

Thanks everyone! Please to report she's fine, she's going to be small but perfectly healthy. She's also not in breech, so either the midwife was wrong or Junior managed to rotate back around in 24hours. They want me to have an extra check up at 36 weeks but all is well it seems :)
