Yay for dino and kate. Great news for you both!

I've just booked a gender scan 🙄 one week from tomorrow we will know what our little one is and also breaks up the wait until my 20 wk scan! So excited.

Found the new thread.... lynsey that's so exciting about the gender scan!! I know I have a long way to go but I can't decide if I want to find out the gender... Keep going back and forth between yes and no!

I personally couldn't not know, there is soooo much more excitement in knowing, you can prepare a name and pick a crib and Pram and clothes etc
In my experience it makes the whole thing so much more real more quickly, all mine, except my youngest daughter where named before they where born.
My sister had a baby in December and decided not to find out after knowing with the other 3, but she struggled with the whole thing and just constantly changed her mind lol I said that the best thing to do was to get the sonographer to write it down and seal it in a envelope and then it was always there to hand if she changed her mind!

Haha xxbec I've had lots of guesses on my scan picture with a huge difference in the majority vote. I took a step back from it though as I was stressing myself over it.

Sorry I've been aeolian- gcse results day! I'm celebrating with ice cream as I can't have wine! It never bothered me during my pg with dd but this time I am really missing a glass of red!

Hi. I wasn't very active in the last thread but hoping to hop back now we are hitting the third trimester and the fact that we are having a baby is starting to feel a bit real and scary

I've just guzzled almost a whole carton of juice.... Was craving it so bad like I do when I'm hungover! That's how I've felt all day today... Hungover without actually drinking... Not good!!

I can recommend the alcohol removed FRE range from ASDA for anyone missing a glass of wine - I bought a bottle of the White Zinfandel for a social event we were hosting at home because I didn't want to be the only one without a glass in my hand, and was pleasantly surprised that it tastes just like the Julio Gallo Rose. They do a merlot in that range too but not tried it yet - planning to take some down for a friend's wedding for the same reason of wanting to feel like I'm blending in with the group. Agree ice cream is also a good substitute!

Great tip on the wine lucky! I had tried tesco sparking alcohol free white wine... Basically grape juice!

Mrs Did you read that clip that I posted from the miscarriage advice webpage, it was a really reassuring bit of statistical data on pregnancy progression after scans.
I felt a bit more positive after reading it, I'll add it again for you to read, may well give you some comfort from now until the next scan xxxx

I wasn't going to put myself through the scans as even with a few good scans last time I was unfortunate, but now knowing that info, I feel as though I'd take them odds and feel quite positive about going the EPU again!

Found you! Thought it had gone a bit quiet over there.

Truly I'm having bad dreams about all sorts, including my previous loss and having to go through ERPC again. Sleeping so badly. I sympathise! Early on I tried using Bach's rescue remedy before bed which seemed to help so I must get some more. Might be worth a try!

I don't know what the technical term for it is but I suffer with terrible terrible bad dreams, it's like my body processing my anxiety whilst I sleep, but I remember all different parts of all different dreams that have happened the nite before it's a frickin nightmare literally, some scary weird shit lol
It's very common to suffer from bad dreams in pregnancy, a friend told me that if you buy some 'hops' from the health food shop and put them under your pillow that works a treat!
Omg tho I'll tell you what I do suffer with in pg......kicky legs!!!!!!! You know when your legs just feel all heavy and you have to like move them and arrrrr I could literally chop them off lol any of you 2nd-3rd trimey gals started getting that yet?

But to make you laff truly, when I'm pregnant, I have, the same dream with every single pregnancy, it's that I've had the baby and I've go sheets or baby bedding!

Everyone is so excited. OH loved being at the scan & he's on cloud 9 today.

My hospital actually doesnt tell you gender so I think I'm going to go for a surprise. At least Oh could find out first then tell me.

Checking in...17 weeks today. Definitely feeling flutters over the last few days but the midwife said this is unusual this early ... She agreed it did seem to be moving around A LOT though when she was finding the heartbeat.

I'm feeling well and other than a bump I feel normal. I'm suddenly able to concentrate at work again
