Hi ladies

I'm currently 37 + 5
For the past week I've had on and off diahreah with nausea, increased discharge, period cramps on and off down below travelling to my thighs. I'm having a pressure pain down low in the bottom of my back like someone's twisting and I feel overall heavier and needing the loo more. Today I noticed my bump has went funny....can labour be near? Any advice would be appreciated BlushHalo

Hi, didn't want you to be left unanswered! Fab bump you've got there!

Why don't you ask your midwife if she can call in to see you (or do you have to go there?) She'll be able to examine you and let you know if you're in labour.

Make sure your bag's packed anyway! Best of luck - it's such an exciting time.

It does sound like the very beginnings of things, as in your body preparing for labour. The diarrhoea definitely, unless youve eaten something that doesn't agree with you?! Can't say for sure until you have actual contractions or your waters go.. Basically when it's started you will know!
I had a lot of period pain and tightening/Braxton Hicks from about 34 weeks but made it to 40+2 before I went into labour. Labour is just one of those unpredictable things!
