Anyone else gone completely off sex??

I am 34 weeks pregnant with baby no2 and I have gone completely off sex and in fact all physical contact with dh. It is really upsetting me. Dh has been great about it. I love him so much and find him really attractive but just feel repulsed at the thought of kissing, etc. I didn't feel like this with 1st pregnancy. Had anyone else felt like this second time around?? Please tell me you got back to normal after the baby was born!

I'm pregnant with our first child, and I can sympathise. I still love to cuddle etc. but haven't really felt in the mood for sex (DH is the same). It feels like a very weird conflict of body and mind, because I still find DH very attractive and love him to pieces, but I just don't feel the urge to do the deed anymore! I don't feel repulsed or anything so perhaps not as extreme as you, just laid back about it all.

Incidentally I have been having lots of sexy dreams so maybe my subconscious is dealing with it that way... all with DH I should add, no weird fantasies or anything before anyone asks!

I really hope things get back to normal at some point, I miss our sex life and I want to have a sex life, even if I don't actually want it right now. I blame crazy pregnancy hormones for my poor confused brain.

This was me in second trimester. First trimester I was pretty normal, second it disappeared into the wilderness and third (I'm 33w) it's returned right around the time that DP doesn't feel comfortable (understandable).

Totally normal OP. The repulsion this weirdly is totally normal too but I never have figured out why.

Thank you, it's nice to know I'm not the only one who feels this way! It has surprised me because I wasn't like this at all with our first baby! Good luck to you all with your pregnancies and babies x

15 weeks and only done it once since finding out I was pregnant. No interest at all, I think its mostly because I've been sick alot.

Oh thank goodness - I thought I was the only one! Im only 13 weeks + 5 days and I haven't wanted to since finding out at 5 weeks! Luckily my husband is really understanding!
