I'm just curious. The only thing I can't think of without wanting to hurl is southern fried chicken wraps! It was one of those meals we cooked quite a lot around the time I found out I was pregnant, and for some reason the thought of it now is bleurgh.

I also, bizarrely, can't think about playing PokemonGo without feeling ill. I think it's a motion sickness thing, but again it was something I played a lot a few weeks ago. Very strange!

I went of chicken. The thought of it turned my stomach. The minute DS was born I needed chicken. DH brought me a hot chicken & stuffing sandwich with loads of mayo & salt when he came back in the evening to see us.

Tea for me too, it made me throw up. I love my tea so this was a big issue confused

Pregnant with DS 1 - I took an aversion to tomatoes whether tinned or fresh (v difficult as pasta was one of our staple meals) - even seeing a tomato sitting innocently in the fridge made me want to hurl.
DS 2 - coffee.

Womenareliketeabags Wed 03-Aug-16 20:33:05

Cauliflower with DS. Raw, cooked, the smell, the thought, it being cooked were all awful.

This pregnancy no food aversions!

foxessocks Wed 03-Aug-16 20:33:46

Mushrooms and tomato ketchup. Both times!

iklboo Wed 03-Aug-16 20:34:04

Oh, I also went off broccoli. I've never been able to eat it the same again, except tender stem.

Alicekeach Wed 03-Aug-16 20:37:08

Coffee - I love it normally.

BonesyBones Wed 03-Aug-16 20:38:13

Currently 18 weeks pregnant and have gone off all meat and anything tomato based or cheesy. I can't even cope with the smells. It's making eating very difficult. Milk is also making me feel very sick, despite craving it constantly.

Yes to southern fried chicken. Can't get enough of it! I've resorted to making my own out of cornflakes and oven baking to ease some of the guilt blush also fajitas - can't get enough of them!

I've gone off veggies apart from cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, Cooked onions mushrooms and peppers, plus anything on a Sunday roast. But ONLY on a Sunday roast. Can't face broccoli etc otherwise at the moment. so weird!

I usually love curry, but I haven't been able to eat it during either pregnancy sad Chicken tikka masala was my first meal when I got home from the hospital at 4am after having Dd grin best curry ever!
This time round I still can't stomach curry, but the other thing I'm not really enjoying is any kind of meat - which is devastating because I'm a real carnivore usually!

alphabook Wed 03-Aug-16 20:43:08

Feels like everything at the moment! Anything remotely spicy, sauces, vegetables, tea, and fish. I already don't eat meat. That basically leaves fruit, carbs and dairy! I didn't used to eat much dairy but I've started eating more just because there's so little I can eat at the moment.

Leviticus Wed 03-Aug-16 20:43:27

Loads. Tea, both times and I couldn't look at or think about fizzy drinks, literally had to look the other way in the supermarket.

Tea and poultry are very common ones I think.

AliensInUnderpants12 Wed 03-Aug-16 20:44:51

I don't remember going off of anything with DS, I did crave cheese though, any type but especially cheddar cheese 😋

I went off tomatoes with DD and couldn't eat our normal meals like spaghetti bolognese, or lasagne. That was unexpected! I craved watercress and spinach with DD, but only in the first 6 weeks or so.

daisywhoopsie Wed 03-Aug-16 20:45:32

Pre-pregnancy I loved oranges and mayo not together. I can stomach an orange now but they certainly aren't my first choice anymore. As for mayo, I can't believe I ever liked it.

Chinks123 Wed 03-Aug-16 20:47:02

Pizza! sad I couldn't even look at one, I have no idea why, and the thought of eating it did make me be sick one day confused

It took me a good few weeks after the birth to be able to enjoy it again. (Probably a sign to lay off the carbs)

PickledLilly Wed 03-Aug-16 20:47:23

Last time sandwiches and pizza, this time red meat.

MalbecAndLindt Wed 03-Aug-16 20:47:27

Most food hmm eggs, fish and tea definitely though. Normally drink loads of tea so that was difficult for me. Developed aversion to eggs 2 days after the BFP, 10 weeks now and still can't think about eggs without wanting to vom except in cake

paddypants13 Wed 03-Aug-16 20:56:47

Pork, both times. Poor dh made me some in a sauce when I was pregnant with ds . I took one mouthful, couldn't even chew it and promptly threw up everywhere. blush Grim.

MessyBun247 Wed 03-Aug-16 20:57:58

Chicken, any veg (especially mushrooms which I usually LOVE), tea and coffee.

Moonrocks6 Wed 03-Aug-16 20:59:15

Tea for me too. Tastes like fish. envy

DarylDixonsDarlin Wed 03-Aug-16 21:01:35

Eggs the first time.
Chicken the second.
Both eggs and chicken the third time, as well as milk/creamy stuff.

All the above babies turned into children who love both chicken and eggs hmm
