Any tips for sleeping with back pain. Can't lie down.

Only 32 weeks but can't lie down comfortably in seemingly any position now. My whole back hurts from bottom to top and I wake throughout the night in serious discomfort. Anyone have any tips? I am sat here exhausted but want to cry at the thought of lying down items that sore.

I sleep with a rolled up towel wedged down my back, and a pillow between my legs. Helps, somewhat.

When I suffered from a bad back a couple of years ago the only way I could sleep was on the sofa with my back against the back of the sofa for support, it really helped.

I had one of those long pillows that helped a bit, although I guess you won't get one tonight :-/

I lie on one side. Bottom leg straight out. Top leg bent 90 degrees and resting on pillow. Only way I could get any respite.

Yes on one side. The towel provides support for my pelvis and lower back and helps to stop me rolling into my back - as if I do I wake in lots of pain.

Okay. Thanks for the tips. Will get pillows and towels and try and manoeuvre myself into some sort of sleeping position.

No advice just a virtual hug, I'm 31 weeks, also horridly uncomfortable and last week had my sodding WC vaccination in my sodding left shoulder so also lost my only sodding comfortable sleeping side for a few days.

Just when you think the injection point should 'definitely not feel that bruised' and is 'almost certainly infected', it'll start to feel better. I found an ice pack soothing.
