My luck's run out and my empathy levels are rising!

I have had a ridiculously easy pregnancy so far- the past 27 weeks have been a breeze, with the exception of agnosingly sore nipples and extreme tiredness in the first few weeks.

I've been sympathetic but unable to really empathise with those who are having a harder time, who had morning sickness and heartburn and all the nasty stuff.

All of sudden, bump seems to have doubled in size overnight, my baby is somehow lodged in my ribs and kicking my bladder at the same time, I have heartburn, I can't sleep, I have heavy, restless legs, braxton hicks, my baby won't stop kicking and wriggling (ALL day and ALL night), I am absolutely ravenous but can't eat more than a few mouthfuls at a time, and the first trimester nipples - oh, the nipples - are back. all of you who have had this have my extreme sympathy!

(And yes, I know that I am incredibly lucky that I am pregnant at all and have a healthy, wriggly baby...and I know that many women have it MUCH worse than me all the way throughout...this has just taken me by surprise and I wanted a bit of a lighthearted moan...)

Oh God, the nipple agony doesn't come back does it?!

Moan away. I'm 38 weeks tomorrow, have had an awful pregnancy, hate hearing from people who loved being pregnant, and my misery would like company!

Once this baby is out I'll be swigging gin from the bottle, instead of bloody gaviscon.
