Bump is rock hard, back is hurting and I'm getting booted under the ribs - 37 weeks

Today is not a good day. I'm sleeping through the night but then waking up in agony with my hips as I haven't moved all night. I am hurting today and my bump is so heavy I feel like I'm carrying a boulder around attached to my front. I can't walk any distance which is driving me mad as I really enjoy wandering around - even if it's just to the shop. But I just hurt.

Baby is cooked now and I'm so ready to get them here. I never thought I'd be willing it all on but I just want my body back and to at least be rid of the weight on my front if nothing else. Other people can help me then, and DP will be amazing I know. I'm just spent! I haven't got an outlet anywhere else at the mo so doing it here!

Oh and add to this a symptomless water infection that I was given antibiotics for has now lead to thrush - which I can't treat fill antibiotics finished on Monday!

Ooh snap. 37 weeks and feel the exact same way!

Can I join in? Also 37 weeks, but getting induced on Thursday!
Past 3 days have been spent deep cleaning the house, chasing round a toddler (and a DH) and generally causing myself more damage to my already very fragile pelvis Sad

I'm now in bed, and I'm contemplating not moving unless it's for a pee. Too much pain :(

Oooohhh you all have my sympathy. I was pregnant with my DD and miserable with a bit of SPD from around 35/36 weeks on and a heatwave. Plus it was so humid I couldn't move without pouring with sweat and I had my hyper toddler to entertain Confused

Don't worry, it seems like forever now but it will all be a distant memory in no time at all! Have a nice cool bath and someone handy to lift you out then don't dry afterwards, just let the water evaporate.

Wish you all as much comfort as possible!

I'm just a mess today. My other half just made a joke about my bump and I burst into tears. I think I just need this out!

I'll be happier tomorrow I'm sure. I'm just exhausted and had enough today. Baby will not keep still and it's getting quite uncomfortable now. Plus I can't stop crying now I've started!

The first half of pregnancy was amazing, actually up until 30 weeks or so. Now I just feel like a double decker bus with an itchy fanjo and stretch marks (though surprisingly they don't bother me as much as I thought they would).

Send DH out for some natural yoghurt! Smear it on a pad or something and it should at least soothe your bits. CakeFlowers

(he might also need to get you your favourite ice cream, some maltesers and then a small surprise gift for you because being pregnant is hard!).

Oh and DD Was a womb aerobics enthusiast, so I also sympathise with that! I have picture of my bump 12 days over moving from side to side when it shouldn't have been possible anymore for her to do that Blush

I'm 37+4 and absolutely fed up. I had bad pregnancy sickness all the way through, which is bad in these final few weeks. It hurts to walk so I've been cycling a lot, but fell off my bike a couple of days ago and not quite confident to get back on it so feeling a bit housebound now. I don't like the feeling of kicking, not sure when I'm meant to find it magical and I am still waiting on my pregnancy glow!

Very jealous of DH going for a park run and then climbing a mountain yesterday. Because I'm quite small, if baby boots me in the ribs, I can get quite breathless doing absolutely nothing! I just want my body back!

Been drinking rose leaf tea and eating pineapple like it's going out of style! Come on baby!

I'm 37+4 too and starting to get pretty uncomfortable. Trying to keep up 10,000 steps a day but def feels like a real effort now and need to lie down more. Sitting not comfortable and those rib kicks....ouch! Actually want it to stay in though as DH wants to get lots of diy done (doesn't bother me but does him)....
Wishing you the best OP!

37 today! Plus deep freeze gel, as opposed to deep heat, has been a godsend! I hurt a lot today but we have been out and about so it's been good to get on my feet for a bit - as much as my ankles are massive from it now lol.

Finish antibiotics today so will be attempting to cure the thrush overnight! Pessary worked a treat last time so hoping it will this time.

At the joys! Early pregnancy is lovely, this bit sucks! I'm hoping baby comes early. Have noticed my shoes are all right, am hoping this wears off when baby gets here as I like my shoes!
