Hi All,

•Are you expecting your first child?
•Would you be interested in taking part in a study that explores your decisions and experiences of leave from employment?

i (Katherine Twamley from University College London) am conducting research with first-time heterosexual parent couples in and around London between June 2016 and September 2017. Participation would involve three interviews – one approximately four weeks before your due date; one six months after the birth of your child; and one 13 months after the birth of your child. You will also be asked to keep a diary at specific points over the course of the year.

If you would like to know more, please email me at: or tel 0207 612 6786

You will be under no obligation to take part! This initial contact is to share with you the details of the study and to check whether you are eligible to take part.

This research is being funded by the Leverhulme Trust, project number: ECF-2015-515
