Is anyone else really suffering with the heat? I'm so uncomfortable and sweaty! I'm just really grateful I have a chilled out toddler who doesn't mind not going out too much and having me on the sofa.
This baby needs to hurry up!

I could've written this myself!! Also 36 weeks, hot, bothered and with a toddler. Luckily he's at nursery 3 days this week as we're moving house on Friday and I've still got packing to do!!

Don't like to moan about good weather but if it could just cool down for the next few days if be so grateful!!!

Only 28 and a half weeks but I am a hot sweaty mess! Have wfh today as couldn't face the sweat box of a train followed by a 10 minute sweaty walk to the office! I worship the sun normally but pregnancy has made me uncomfortable and really sun sensitive Angry

I'm in my bikini, kids paddling pool out. Not too bad. The night times are the worst.

39+3 and I am normally really annoyed with people who moan about the heat but I am one of them at the moment!

Due Friday and am currently half regretting not having the ELCS I could have had last week!

Although that would then require me to keep baby cool!

38.5 weeks. I just went to the shop and bought two bags of ice and some ice cream. I am going to sit very still in a dark room today and try not to swell.

The kids at a kayak camp today, so I know they are happy on the lake. Yesterday we were at the beach and that was perfect.

For the first time in weeks I DO not want to go into labour today. We have a home birth planned, but if I end up in hospital I know it will be very hot and unpleasant.

39+2 with a very lively toddler! Fortunately he still has a nap during the day, which is saving my sanity!

I just can't get comfortable!!

39+1. I normally love the heat (and feel the cold far too much), but since being on thyroid meds my internal thermometer has pretty much matched my husband's, for the first time in ten years.

I'm currently loathing the weather - I have PGP so I can't even go for a walk by the river where it would hopefully be a bit cooler. Can't get the house down to a sensible temperature. I'm miserable. The husband is miserable. Our hairy dog is miserable. I'm pondering asking work if I can come off maternity leave, so I can sit in an air conditioned office. For the first time in my life, I'm wanting summer to piss off and longing for a cool autumn.

BAH.

I am boiling Sad 39+4

Didn't fall asleep until 4 this morning then had a horrible over heated, sweaty kind of sleep for a few hours. Have had a cold shower but the minute I got out too hot again. My hands and feet are like balloons.

33w here; hot and sweaty with near-constant backache and heartburn. I may join my older children in their paddling pool once they're home from school for some fun and respite!

Fwiw, I've never been this far along in the summer before - it is quite something.
