12 week scan measuring 11?

Hi everyone!
I went for my 12 week scan today and the baby measured only 11 weeks? I have to go back in a week to have the nucal tranlucency test as bub was too little to measure?
I wasn't 100% on dates but I'm sure I should be more than 11 weeks? We saw a heartbeat and he had a good wiggle when we woke him up..... But I'm in bits thinking that he has stopped growing or has something wrong- has anyone been through this and everything worked out ok? I'm going out of my mind!! TIA xx

When I had first scan I was nearly 13 weeks according to last period, but they dated it 11+4. Not sure what the margin of error for assessing it's age is, but am guessing there is one - and it's extremely difficult to pinpoint exactly when you conceived. Ovulation doesn't run like clockwork and sperm hangs around a few days just in case - it's not an exact measure! I'm 28 weeks now and baby measuring bang on target. If there's a heartbeat and movement then little one is fine.

I went to my 12week scan when pg with DS and he showed a week behind even though based on my last af I was more than 11weeks. Doc said I had probably ovulated late.

As long as baby has a healthy heartbeat there's nothing to worry about Smile

I felt really lucky getting to see bubs twice when normally it's just the once.

It's quite common for dates to be slightly out so really don't worry and enjoy getting that extra glimpse Smile
