Poo! Sorry to lower the tone

I've never had trouble with my loo habits I'll be honest. Haven't really suffered too bad during pregnancy apart from the occasional bout of struggle lol.

What I will say is my poo is enormous!! Like ridiculous! It's been uncomfortable at times but then I see the size of it and I understand why it wasn't comfy! Has anyone else suffered this?

I hope this does away I have to say, it's not pleasant and it does cause me some bellyache. Plus if I get caught short I would be horribly uncomfortable doing this anywhere that's not my house.

Going through this my self. I can't go for days, then when I do its like giving birth from my bottom (slight exaggeration lol)

Isn't it just weird? Side effects of pregnancy are mad enough but this one just comes out of nowhere lol

Haha my poo's are that big I'm hoping it's preparing me for child birth GrinI'm only 12 weeks but I have always had a problem and it's only getting worse Hmm

Mine's been the same for weeks. They actually blocked the toilet a few times and had to wait until they'd dissolved a bit before flushing! They were ABSOLUTELY huge. I only wanted to poo at home in case I blocked a toilet elsewhere! I'm now week 22 and it's just started to soften up! Enjoy!

Had to have a lie down after a poo last week it took it out of me so much

TwirlyHoos · 10/07/2016 22:35

I had this for ages after DC1 was born! I liked to think "that's another chunk of pregnancy weight down the loo!" Grin

Eat prunes... They'll soften everything so it'll come out easier!!

This persisted for me even after pregnancy. 18 months later and my poos are nearly always huge! Blush

Only dh knows about this and he thinks I'm just imagining it!

During pregnancy: Fybogel sachets. Ask your GP for a prescription, drink them religiously. This is the first thing I will be asking for if I get pregnant again.

Thank you ladies. I too have had to have a breather afterwards as it real exhausted me lol. It's not the most ladylike but then I've discovered not much is these days!
