Pregnancy

cramps at 5 weeks, worried

Hi all, this is the first time I've been pregnant and I'm just constantly worrying :(
My tests had faint pink lines and I've read a lot online where that can lead to a m/c if you don't have enough hgc in your body..
Also I've been having a lot of cramps, some period like (intense) but these usually go quite quickly. I mainly have dull backache in my lower back and I'm constantly checking for blood, it's driving me insane :( I have no other symptoms really aside from occasional nausea and my nipples are sore to touch, plus, I'm really, really bloated. Did anyone else get such faint lines at 4+4 weeks (when I did the test) and go on to have a healthy pregnancy? Plus are these symptoms normal??

Faint positives are very common and the second line is very rarely anywhere near as dark as the first as it depends on the amount of HCG in the urine. Some women have lots quickly and some take time to build up. Even the faintest second line is a positive!

Cramps are completely normal just watch for any bleeding that is more than slight spotting. You have a lot of raging hormones and your uterus is stretching and growing to accommodate baby.

All symptoms to be expected during pregnancy :)

I had faint lines until they became stronger at around 6 weeks.

I had bad cramping from 3 weeks which gradually got worse and worse. I was convinced I was having a miscarriage so I went to the epu but the scan was inconclusive. By about 8 weeks the cramps were gone and all was fine at the 12 week scan. I hope that's the case for you too :) good luck Flowers

I'm 4+0 today and had cramps for the last 4 days! Only had one evening of cramps in my last pregnancy so I keep worrying and running to the loo too! I don't know about the faint line though, maybe try a different brand of test?! Probably no different but my hormonal mind wants to suggest it. Best of luck xx

Hello guys, turns out I m/c lastnight at exactly 5 weeks, a lot of dark blood and intense pain in my abdomen and lower back. Guess we can't chose what happens so it it wasn't meant to be it wasn't meant to be!
