Hey all, after I had a pee last night there was blood on the paper not a lot but it freaked me out! It's a browny colour now. Can anyone make be feel less stressed?

Hi, I had this just the day after my period was due (so about 4 weeks). It was just a bit when I wiped once. I remember getting upset and pissed off that I obviously wasn't pregnant! I have a gorgeous 8 month old now.

Keeping my fingers crossed for u!

I had similar last week. Went to the doctors who referred me to the gynae assessment unit at the local hospital for a scan. They wouldn't scan until I was 7 weeks (this week) - something to do with not being able to see much before 7 weeks and not wanting to worry me unnecessarily if they can't see anything.

Had my scan was this morning and all is absolutely fine Smile and we saw the heartbeat!

Try not to stress (I know it's difficult!), I've spent the last week convinced it'd be bad news but it might not be Flowers

Yep, had exactly that the day before and the day that AF was due. Am now 20 weeks. I think it's quite normal but ask your OB if you are worried, that's what they're there for

I had small amounts of bleeding on and off until I was 12 weeks, the first time completely broke me and I thought it was all over. We were referred for an early scan to check everything out and thankfully all was ok.
I know it's really hard not to panic but try not to, it really is very normal to have spotting at the beginning.
So long as it's not lots or you're not in pain then it's probably OK.
Take care xx

I had exactly that, then went on to have light pink spotting at 5, 9 and 12ish weeks. Googled the hell out of it and discovered it's very, very common. Now 33 weeks today.

Hi Nicky, it's probably nothing to worry about but I would mention it to the GP. I had a very small amount of bleeding at 4 weeks and was referred for a scan at 5 weeks - the worry was ectopic but it turned out to be fine.
