Hi everyone! So I'm 39+1, have been having 'false labour' types of goings on for over 2 weeks now (Totally fed up!). I had my 'bloody show' overnight on Friday, which was followed by cramps all night in lower back and stomach and also up my va jay jay Blush
This was subsequently followed by about 20hrs of contractions which went from 14 mins apart to 6mins apart by the evening/night. I spoke to M/W and was told to get some rest and call when contractions were 3 in 10 mins. Funnily enough, I had the best night sleep I have had in I can't remember how long Hmm woke in the morning with no contractions!! Throughout yesterday I still had the pressure and lower back dull period type ache & irregular 'tightenings'. Slept horrendously last night due to the heat, and now all has completely stopped! I feel so disheartened and fed up Sad has this happened to anyone else? If so, how long did it take for contractions to kick back in again???

I had mild contractions on and off for a week after I lost the plug. However sounds like you've had more, so fingers crossed for you! Do lots of walking and etc, I'm sure you will appreciate the good nights sleep if baby comes soon!

Do you have a breast pump? I used mine to jump start contractions when my labour seemed to be stalling and it worked a treat!

I do have a pump! I tried that On saturday and it made the contractions a lot more intense and closer together. Did wander if it's worth trying it again? Iv tried Baths, Sex, breast pump, walking, birth ball & dancing! Grin now all stopped!
