Hello Smile please can someone give me advice on how to find bras during pregnancy? Do I just pick bigger sizes or should I go and get measured, but then since growing do I just go to shops every time my bra feels right and uncomfortable? ConfusedSadEnvy

Hi Maki! I am having bra woes too. It is definitely worth getting measured regularly! I was so surprised at how big my band size has got already; only 14 weeks and gone from a 34 pre pregnancy to a 38!! I saw a lovely mayernity bra in Debenhams which was lovely and soft, going to treat myself to one very soon.

Get some bra extenders off amazon, they're still keeping me going in my normal bras at 30 weeks!

Last time I just got measures and bought bigger normal bras that were comfortable, and then got measured again for nursing bras in the last few weeks of the pregnancy.
I'm doing the same thing this time Smile

I'm only 8 weeks and I'm finding it hard with the wire as can feel my bigger rib cage. Definitely get measured. With my previous pregnancy I just got some from mothercare and was measured - they are usually on offer so it's affordable to replace throughout pregnancy as you grow

Just this morning I looked at the bra intervention threads and measured myself - I was wearing a 34D, measured at a 30G!!!!

Went and tried a few on this afternoon and ended up with 4 lovely Freya bras in a 32F. I just grabbed a load of sizes and used the 'good fit' checks from the threads to see which size was best. The 30 band felt way too tight but the 32 was great!

Not sure about anyone else but my boobs are so sensitive and uncomfortable at the moment - I couldn't bear anyone else touching them for a measurement which is why I did it myself! The joys of pregnancy ;)

I tried so many (lots of tears!) and ended up with Elle Macpherson's nursing bras, which I wore throughout pregnancy and beyond. They were so comfy compared to anything else. If I hadn't found these, I would have been very miserable!

I've got bravado body silk seamless bras and they've been perfect. They come in s m l etc rather than specific sizes so it's easy to find the right one. I'm not sure how they are for better endowed ladies but for mine they were great! Still wearing them and baby is 15 months!

I wear one at night and have had to since I was about 6 wks as just rolling over I'm bed was making my (usually) 34Bs soo sore the pain was waking me up! Bought a £16 bra from John Lewis own brand in a medium, it's a nursing bra but no wires and so much more comfy. Must get measured properly soon tho!
