Ummmm..... I don't know? If your cycle is regular I guess you were more likely to have been ovulating around the time of 6th may (two weeks after period). But unless you know when you ovulated, then you probably can't be sure.

At your 12 week scan, they would give you a due date based more on foetal development than period dates, so that could give you a better idea.

It's pretty much impossible to tell. You'll need a DNA test when the baby's born.

Personally, in your situation is have a termination. Living with uncertainty for 9 months, having to tell your boyfriend you might be having his baby and might not...friends and family knowing, all hideous.
If ou decide to keep it you can't know until after it is born.

if you have regular 28 day cycles, AND if you ovulated on day 14 as apparently regular cycles do, id say you have more chance of it been 1 night stand personally.

but like previous peeps have said, no way to guess really, scan can give u rough idea, but DNA would be best. id say one night stand is more likely x

There was a very similar thread not that long ago - I don't have any advice but you're not on your own. People make mistakes.

Sperm can hang around for about 5 days so any unprotected sex in the 5 days prior to ovulation could fertilise the egg. The egg hangs around for 24-36 hours so any unprotected sex on ovulation day or the day after could result in fertilisation.

If you have a 28 cycle and ovulate on day 14 then you would have ovulated on around 5/6th May.

It could be either sexual partner.

It would be sensible to talk to your GP about the pregnancy and ask for sexual health screening. If you've had unprotected sex with multiple partners then you are more at risk for STIs that could affect the baby as well as you so you need to be checked out and treated if necessary.

You have options about how to proceed - your GP will be able to help

* LadyStarkOfWinterfell* really? A termination just because she isn't sure who the dad is? That's pretty harsh! Also her friends and family knowing, well so what! She might not even decide to tell them she isn't sure about who the dad is, which to be fair is nobody's business except her and the men involved.

Sunrise If you were ovulating then 1st-3rd then it would be more likely that it was the man you slept with on the 1st, but there really isn't a way to know as the dates are so close. There are other options for you as you don't sound like a termination is something you want. Have you spoken to the two men involved yet?

LadyStarkOfWinterfell · 06/06/2016 16:06

Yes! Why is it harsh? I'm not advising anyone else to do the same, just saying what I would do.

Paulat2112 · 06/06/2016 16:23

It's harsh to suggest to someone to get rid of their baby just because they are unsure who the dad is!

Read. My. Post. I said I would do it. I didn't suggest anyone else should do the same.

I did read your post. I think it's a pretty shitty thing to say.

I don't think ladystark has said anything wrong. She was offering insight as what she'd do in the same situation as the op. I'd take the same path.

It's a very personal decision and not once that everyone would choose, but it's definitely an option for the op.

Report
LadyStarkOfWinterfell · 06/06/2016 17:18

Why?
The op is an adult, adult enough to make a pregnancy and should be adult enough to hear that other people would terminate in her situation because it's a whole mess of shit. it's hardly helpful to pretend that the path ahead won't be difficult.

If you sleep with two men in same cycle there is no way to tell. You could easily have 28 day cycles and ovulate on day 14 but this month may be a fluke. One of the men might have unknown fertility issues. The scan is dependant on human skill. At this gestation a mm in length can affect age guesstimated.

You will never work it out. The only way to find out is a dna test unfortunately.

I'm afraid there's no way of knowing. I conceived around day 14 last time and day 9 this time
