I'm Danielle and I'm due in October with my first baby. We are having a little boy and couldn't be happier!

Just wondered if there were many other people from NE England on here who are due around the same time?

Hi,
I'm from the NE too and baby number 1 is due in late September. Not sure if our baby is girl or boy yet as decided to have a surprise. Hope you're ok :-)

I'm from County Durham and expecting our first baby on 30th October. We have a scan in 2 weeks and we have decided we probably will found out the sex but we are more concerned that the baby is healthy after many years of trying x

So sorry about your little boy Angshore, I can't imagine what that must be like for you.
I live near you (I'm in North Shields) and due not long after so will maybe see you around at baby groups next year!

A helpful tip for people living in north Tyneside. You can but a medela swing pump through the midwife drop in clinic at the North Shields Riverside Centre for £80.

Hi I'm in the NE and currently cuddling our extremely cute 6wk old.
Had a bit of a palaver getting here thanks to a few pregnancy complications but can't thank the staff at JCUH enough and everything ended up ok and he's perfect. Can also say that with my first the RVI were fab too. Good luck & congratulations to all of you who are expecting.

I'm at the RVI so that's good to know Wonkylegs :-)
Perhaps we should all have a meet up sometime?

Ah it would be lovely to meet up!

Is anybody delivering at the new hospital in Cramlington? I have heard good reports so have decided to go there! It was between there and the RVI!

X Smile

I am! I was choosing between there and the RVI but Cramlington just looks so nice!

Does anyone know how much they charge for scan photos at Rake Lane? I had my DS down south so the maternity services up here are all new to me!

Magpie, you get two free photos for each scan at Rake Lane, and if you want more you pay £2 per each additional photo.
