I'll just leave my dignity at the door.
I've got piles. 30 weeks with DC2. Never had it before. Didn't get it at any point with DC1. Even with a fairly extended pushing phase to get her out. I'm not particularly constipated and haven't been aware of straining unduly. I have a relatively good diet - 5+ fruit and veg most days.
I looked at the NHS advice and it said to push it back in with a bit of Vaseline. Which I did. Blissful relief for all of two minutes before it popped out again. Same thing a couple of times so I've now given up as its just making it more sore.
So. What do I do? Can't get to a Dr till Wedmesday so what is there over the counter that I can use in the meantime? Any other tricks to get some relief?
Is birth going to be horrendous now?
Sore and fed up. And it hurts too much to do pelvic floor exercises so I'll probably be weeing myself in a day or two.
Any help or even a bit of sympathy which is apparently beyond DH gratefully received.
