27wks & waiting in triage

Hi all,

Just come on for a bit of support really.

I'm 27+2 and have had some spotting, when I phoned the midwife they asked me to count the kicks over 2 hours. The kicks are much fewer than normal so I've been asked to come to triage.

Now I'm sat waiting to see someone in the hospital and I'm panicking.

It doesn't help that the triage ward is also on the labour ward and I feel out of place.

didn't want to read and run. Just a quick message to say you're in the right place. They would much rather you come in and everything be ok than not come in at all. I had reduced movement a few weeks ago at 30
weeks and once baby was hooked up to the trace she went mental (apparently it happens quite frequently) So try not to worry it may all turn out to be a storm in a teacup. Even if it does turn out to be something slightly more worrying you're in the right place for them to do something about it and take any preventative measures necessary Flowers

I've just got home from the hospital and thankfully everything appears to be well with Bump.

The hospital staff were great and didn't make me feel like I was wrong for going in, which was very much appreciated.

Many thanks for all the best wishes!
