Dr Shehata stories

I have an appointment with Dr S this week for immune issues. My history is two children age 6 and 4, but have suffered 2 devastating mcs in the past year, both silent mcs where babies died at 14 weeks and 17 weeks but didn't find out until later.

I've had every test under the sun with the NHS, apparently. The only thing they found was high levels (100) of thyroid antibodies, so I'm now on an 6 month waiting list to see an endocrinologist. DH does not want to try again as he doesn't feel there is enough evidence to support the fact that taking levoxthyrine improves chances of a successfull pregnancy in women with thyroid antibodies. He is also unsure about Dr Shehata as there is also not enough medical evidence that his treatments work. In my nhs mc consultants words "he will pump you full of loads of different drugs and charge you a fortune" Confused.

However, I've heard so many good things about him on here, plus one of my good friends is now preg on his treatment plan after 8 years of infertility and describes him as a miracle worker! So going to his clinic is my last resort and I'm trying to convince my DH that our appointment is a good idea.

Just interested to hear of any experiences, good or not so good. Or any success stories of being treated by Dr S for autoimmune issues such as thyroid antibodies.

Hi marmite, I'm sorry to hear of your losses.

I had 3 miscarriages before following dr shehata's treatment plan. I can't really type a lengthy story because my five day old daughter is asleep in my arms. I never thought this day would come.
