10 weeks waters breaking??

Don't know what to do. Woke up with soaked bottom half (not pee! Blush). Popped to the loo and liquid just dropped out of me before I peed, as if it had been waiting there?
I'm only 10 weeks Sad. I'm registered at UCH but I've googled and they only seem interested in bleeding as sign of early miscarriage, no advice for possible early waters. Any advice?

I'd ring your midwife ASAP or 111 if not. Hope it's all ok x

Something v similar happened to me at 14 weeks. I woke up at 4am with a large wet patch in the bed that wasn't pee. Went straight to the emergency but of the maternity hospital, was swabbed and eventually scanned. Everything was fine, and I very much hope that's the case with you too. I was told it was very rare for waters to go so early on, and so quite unlikely. Never solved the mystery of what it actually was though. Im 20 weeks now and all fine. Good luck, I hope it's nothing.

Pickwick, that does sound very similar and - fingers crossed - seems I have similar good news. I've now had a scan (and can say everyone at uch was absolutely lovely) and there isn't any hole or leak they can see, fluids more than normal, baby fine for dates. I can go back if I leak again, but I hope I can just chalk this one up to the body liking to keep things interesting! Thanks for all good wishes, was so nice to have when I was waiting this morning. Smile

Ah so glad it's good news! Yep, I too had to chalk it up to being one of those weird pregnancy things Smile Terrifying at the time though!
