Ok am 9weeks pregnant today. Before I found out I was pregnant I was referred to the gyn-ob as was feeling a heavy sensation down below and was leaking wee all the time.
I attended the appt and after an internal was recommend to do physio as was a weak pelvic floor muscles( I had suspected a prolapse).
Following the appt the heavy sensation subsided for a while ( maybe because he shoved it upHmm).
it's back and very uncomfortable. Midwife was no help at 7 weeks when I told her said to keep up with the exercise. Any advice pls?

hi,
I had this, and was diagnosed with hypertension and a slipped bladder. Its something that I have always had, but was made significantly worse post birth of my 1st DD. I got physio for the hypertension (my pelvic floor was locked in the "tight" position) followed by a course of physio exercises; I am not sure if physio (if required) would be an option whilst pregnant? I am pregnant again, and all my symptoms are back (the heavy feeling, the feeling like everything with fall out and the constant leaking), but unfortunately I doubt anything will happy until after the baby is born.
I am going to be seeing my consultant (not referred until after I had my 12 week scan and seeing them after my 20 week scan). If you feel that you need looked at again, go to your GP and ask for a referral to physio?
Hope this helps.
