Anterior placenta, breech and generally awkward baby

I'm looking for some reassurance really as third is my first baby. I'm 38 weeks on Thursday and have an anterior placenta and the baby is /was breech at my last scan a week and a half ago.
I'm now booked in for a c section and have got my head around it and am now feeling OK after speaking to lots of people about it.
The issue is i get very very few movements. The ones i do get are now like the flutters people describe at 20 weeks ( i never got anything at all until about 26). On a normal day i get up to 5 flutters. Because they are so tiny they are easy to miss and often just feel a little like gas. I've been in to hospital three times recently too go on the monitor as i hadn't felt anything for over a day.
Firstly is there anyone else out there like this who can reassure me.
Secondly does anyone know what surgeons are like about performing a c section even if the baby has turned by the time i go in. I just don't know if i can deal with possibly three weeks more of constant panic that the baby isn't moving.
Thanks in advance for any help xx
